The New
Brunswick Forest Hawk and Spring Woodpecker survey began on a pilot
basis in 2003. This volunteer-based survey is meant to be a long-term
survey of hawks and woodpeckers in NB's crown and private forests, with
the ultimate goal being to determine population trends of these species.
This report summarizes the results from 2004.
